   Ozonization of Manganese and Iron in Takapau Water Treatment Plant

Infracon Ltd has implemented a turnkey ozone system in the Takapau WTP for Central Hawke's Bay District Council, New Zealand. The ozone generator is an all-in-one unit which contains an oil free compressor, oxygen generator, air dry freezer, dual cooling system, telemetry control. The Ozone generating technology is the latest technique called RTPF. It was specially designed for a general in-door environment. The Ozone system is to replace the existing Chlorine oxidation system that is inefficiently oxidizing Mn and Fe in the source water.
